This class looks at the history of surplus lines insurance from the days of the Lloyd’s Coffee house in the 1600’s to the most recent offerings in the surplus lines markets today.
Topics include rates/forms, affidavits, diligent efforts, state regulation, selecting a surplus lines broker, and coverages that are written in the surplus lines market.
The class is taught by Tony O’Donnell, M.Ed., CPCU, ASLI, Vice President at Quaker Special Risk and has 25 years’ experience in the Surplus line business. The class has been approved for 3 CE Credits in New Hampshire.
